My travel philosophy

What began as a passion for exploring and meeting new people has grown into this space. A way to celebrate the depth, nuance, and beauty of the world we live in.

My main purpose is to send you on a journey where you start to listen to yourself and your surroundings, and consume less peer pressure.

How can we do it?

Traveling is a deeply personal act, guided by curiosity and respect. It's less about escape and more about connection. About being present. More human. More real.

With my tailored guide and accompanying Curious Bestie Prompts, I invite you to immerse yourself in life. To notice the quiet, in-between moments. The worn edges of a doorway, the melody of a conversation, the way late afternoon light reflects in building windows. To honour them within you.

I don’t aim to create a checklist where you'll see and photograph everything for your feed. Rather, a recipe with enough ingredients, so you can truly remember what it felt like to be there.

What do you feel when you imagine a trip like this?

You know, in the end, travel isn’t about how far you go, but how deeply you notice.

My Story

A picture of a girl on top of a peak, city and sea view in the background.

Hey! I’m Alicja and I've been travelling for most of my life.

At first, I did it a lot like everyone else does. I believed that seeing more meant experiencing more. I hopped from landmark to landmark, convinced that somehow I’d get it right if I just saw enough.

I lived in Poland, England, Lithuania, Germany, and France. I visited 40+ countries. I hustled through cities and airports, and somewhere along the way I realised it wasn’t the quantity of places that mattered. It was the quality of how I experienced them.

As my travel philosophy started to change, my life demanded a change too.

I worked as a Sales Executive, moving fast, chasing results, always on to the next goal. And it came to me in the most unexpected way... I was fired from my well-paid, comfortable job. Suddenly, the life I thought I had under control was gone.

At first, it was scary. But looking back, it was the push I didn’t know I needed. I slowed down, listened to myself, and finally gave my curiosity and love for authentic travel the space it deserved.

I lingered in tiny cafés, noticed ordinary moments that became extraordinary, and started seeing travel, and life, through fresh, attentive eyes.
